So you are talking about stopping things that might/probably CONTRIBUTE to global warming rather than stopping gw. re: your quote; "People CAN stop global warming,"

I am not splitting hairs here but I think in an emotional debate people should get their terms straight so that the proponents of doing something do not sound irrational and out of touch with reality. BTW I am not directing that comment to you.

And it goes without saying from me, I do agree with stopping runaway exploitation of this planet. I have talked about this for years, here and in the real world. And by being active in the real world. Also by living my life to reduce my footprint, which is relatively small compared to the average American at my socio/economic level.

My own thoughts on this are that we could be in the early stages of a natural cycle of gw that could/would/be speeded up by our runaway activities. I don't know, but I do know, I don't think it is morally prudent to put the planet at risk by continuing our current activities (just to make that clear again).
