KB,

I have been struggling with how to deal my current wonderful valuations. I have been moving towards more event driven - or lower market cap plays with production upside. If we get cheap $45.00 oil - it will be a wonderful environment for stocks. Think about it - cheap oil - oil in the 40s?

Another thought has been to take a portion of profits when taken into building a position in EOG. Small EOG buys over an extended period. EOG's natural gas position to me is a wonderful long term asset.

Bob

The charts are self fullfilling short term, other than PTEN NBR MVK for example, most of the offshore and service plays are valued adequately. Traders will move the equities IAW the charts until some big money decides it either wants out until a new lower valuation or they want in up to a new valuation.

The only thing holding back the land side of the business IMO is the worry about how the injection season will fare. The equity players have not figured out what the commodity players have, that the S/D balance for NG is very tight and that the present futures strip is justified, even with is large discount to #2 oil.

Other than catching a minor half point rise with my purchase of KCS yesterday, I am sitting around 70% loaded and waiting for the next lift off.

I wonder what the charts were saying the week before PTEN climbed from $19 to $26?

The OSX wont diverge from the XNG XOI for long.
