I quit for a year when I was 25 and decided I would rather be dead without them. A big fear of mine is being put in a hospital where I can't get them.

Lindy Bill once commented on his thread that he successfully quit smoking after enrolling in a Schick-Shadel program. They're based in Seattle, but may have facilities elsewhere. I believe their program is based on aversion therapy.
