If polygamy is illegal, then that should be too.

Polygamy is in a sense not illegal. What is illegal is the government recognizing a polygamous relationship as a marriage (it can recognize one man and one woman from that relationship as being married). Another thing that is illegal is fraud. It is fraud if you say you aren't married and sign a marriage lisences with a 2nd person when you were already married.

I think fraud should be illegal, and I think the government has no obligation to recognize polygamous marriages, but I don't think the government should forbid polygamous relationships.

My opinion on polygamy is very similar to my opinion on same sex marriages.
