>>> Have you ever been to an ER in a big city? It took me 10 hours to be attended to and released after an ambulance rushed me to an LA ER after an accident.

Exactly; you weren't badly injured and those who needed immediate attention were given it in preference to you. If anything, this is a testament to ER efficiency. It says ZERO about efficiency that you had to wait 10 hours. What is important is that treatment is delivered in the most efficient manner possible given the available staff and resources.

When they got around to it, they took out a two inch piece of glass out of my left eye that had been resting on the optic nerve. I had pieces of glass embedded in my face and body. They thought my spine was broken. I laid in a body brace for hours until they got around to tending to me.

In fact, the police thought I was decapitated until someone in the crowd so me move in the car and told the police to do something as the car was on fire.

I had pieces of glass falling out of my face for months after the accident. Oh did I meantion I got stitches in numerous locations. But yeah, it was a minor accident.

>> Its a big world outside of Hot Springs and things don't always work like they do there. Talk about something you know.

I paid my dues in the city, nitwit. I just made the affirmative decision to get the hell out of the city after 15 years. I'm glad I did.

What 'city' was that? Little Rock?

"treatment is delivered in the most efficient manner possible given the available staff and resources."

What the heck you are talking about? "Given the available.."?
So, what is it? "Given", or "available"? Given by who?
I am sure that many more resources can be available given
a little more desire to help people with glass in their
faces...
