It's often hard to tell which fights are worthwhile when one is part of the status quo. Many people thought folks fighting racial segregation were horrible troublemakers. They said exactly the same sorts of things you are saying.

While some fights may be more trouble than they are worth, it's often hard to know in advance which fights those are. IMO of course. Obviously you approach this matter differently.
