I don't have a clear opinion on the case either. I can't relate to indifference regarding whether one's wishes as to the disposition of one's self are honored or ignored. There is a little more to the situation than the issue of "whether one's wishes as to the disposition of one's self are honored or ignored". Many of the facts of this case are disputed. Among the disputed issues is the exact nature of her current state, and her wishes about what should be done if she was in various states. Tim
