Tinka appoints new president, CEO, secretary, directors 2005-03-21 15:06 ET - News Release Mr. Andrew Carter reports RESULTS OF ANNUAL AND SPECIAL MEETING Tinka Resources Ltd. held its annual and special meeting of shareholders on Friday, March 18, 2005. Messrs. Andrew Carter, David Henstridge, Nick DeMare and William Lee were elected as directors during the meeting. At a directors meeting held subsequent to the shareholders meeting, the directors appointed Mr. Carter the president and chief executive officer and Mariana Bermudez the corporate secretary. In addition, all items put forth at the meeting were approved by the shareholders, including an ordinary resolution to ratify the stock option plan and special resolution to remove pre-existing company provisions pursuant to the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia) and to alter the share capital of the company from one million common shares without par value to an unlimited number of common shares without par value.
