I am truly sad for my Republican party.

I agree with the GOP more often than not, but they're completely out to lunch in this case, IMO. Why the hell they're getting involved in this family matter and wasting time holding stupid hearings on baseball players drug habits while the deficit spirals out of control, the dollar heads down the tube and energy prices are going through the roof is beyond me.

One word describes it... Pandering.

In the case of Terri Schiavo, cutting off her water should be the same as the worst torture anyone has to endure even if she has only an ounce of thought left. If she has to be killed at least make it as pleasant as we do with old dogs and serial killers.
