"If anyone is really interested in seeing how Terry's husband took a nursing course to take care of her to avoid expense. How he has death threats and has to have a guard at his home, how the lawyer who was his way back in 1996 said the parents are about money and the husband is about love and respecting his wife's wishes... it changes the complexion of things a bit."
And the right charges exactly the opposite about the husband. There is even a charge out there i heard this morning that TS breathing was cut off by some type of strangulation causing the heart attack which is at the root of her current condition. The folks who bring this up think hubby did it.
I have no view of this all--how can I, I dont have any real facts-- except that this is tragic any way you cut it. It bothers me no end that a human being is being starved and dehydrated to death rather that being issued a lethal injection. We treat our animals better but the moral issues are very complex and for me, this will drive me to a thinking about a living will. When TS dies i hope her suffering is relieved and/or she really goes to a better place. I hope the parents can cope with their loss and I wish a good life for the husband with his new family.
I must say though how sickened i am that Sylvestor has made this a partisan political issue on this thread when it should be one of conscience. Mike
