Funny thing about people ...is that when they are blindly persuing a goal ,be it economic growth or military might or what ever ...they are easily lead into self defeating actions....with centrally planed economies the risk is even greater. Americans are the new "perfidious albion". We are the greatest con artists,swindlers and shucksters on earth.We are The King Rat. "Never give a sucker an even break" ought to be our national motto.g I have no doute that america will go through a very bad patch economicly....but it will be china that will suffer dramatic social upheavel.why?with more than a billion people to feed and fuel there is no room for mistakes , miscalculations or misalocation of resourses..... I'll add... that china will start a war prematurely in an attempt to stablize social unrest....not win it.....and in the process loose its foreign currency reserves and revenues.just my opinion
