Last nite, M. Schiavo was on Larry King and people were calling in to ask him questions. Of course, most of the callers were the wingnuts accusing and criticizing him. First time I've ever wanted to call into one of those shows......let Schiavo know that there are many of us out there that don't agree with the wingnuts.

All he hears from is the wingnuts. And that's all he sees when he goes to visit his wife. Its too bad.

Al, It is a STATE LAW ISSUE. Congress has made it a federal issue with this cockamamie law it passed in the middle of the night. I suspect the constitutionality of IT will be challenged very quickly.

Given that federal law trumps state law, and that by your admission this isn't a constitutional issue, I see nothing wrong with what Congress did.
