Al, It is a STATE LAW ISSUE. Congress has made it a federal issue with this cockamamie law it passed in the middle of the night. I suspect the constitutionality of IT will be challenged very quickly.

Given that federal law trumps state law, and that by your admission this isn't a constitutional issue, I see nothing wrong with what Congress did.


It violates the Constitution. It is illegal and if necessary, the cockroach delay law can be thrown out on that basis.

Pard'me... I somehow got the wrong impression that you and looney tunes harris were bitching about liberals trumping state rights...I also mistakenly thought conservatives were for less goverment. I am suffering from long held (mis)understandings...
