do you think at the very least, the courts should allow a swallow test for ms. schiavo?

the point i am making is that it was her husband's decision to 'plug her in' (original feeding tube insertion) and now insists that she had indicated to him verbally before her injury that she would never want to be 'on a tube' !

you may think he was 'stupid', i frankly don't.

i think he is quite aware of what is necessary to game the system to reach his desired conclusion, the termination of her life and any benefits that accords him

there was in according to my recollection a nurse who testified in a court affadavit to the fact that she could eat and despite this, mr. schiavo ordered a feeding tube.

i'm not sure i can find the document, but will look when i have some time later

"If he wanted to pull the plug on her, he would have been better off not plugging her in in the first place."

Perhaps he wanted to help increase the size of the
malpractice suit payout first.
