Bribery often works, and it's what gets a lot of people to work in the morning- of course for them we call it a salary. In our culture money talks, and if you put up money, people listen- and kids, imo, are more attuned to that than most people. Their bullshit detectors are on high alert. They know if you are willing to pay them to do something, it must be important. If we tried it on a large scale, and it didn't work, I'd be happy to give it up. But I have tried it, on a small scale, and it DID work- so I'd at least like to see it tried somewhere else.
