<US planned as early as the 1920's to make Japan an enemy >

vs.

<Or how we provoked Japan in the late 1920's so they could become our enemy in WWII.>

No one said that - I doubt it was planned - maybe the normal buffoonery and short sightedness. I'm not willing to post when there is no intention to read or respond to what I write. If people want to share their distortions, willful misunderstanding or intentional miscomprehension, there seems to be ample places to do so and they'd get three cheers for it, right? Not from me. Just tired of it, myself. We can have ample evidence for historical misconduct and its unpatriotic and complicit to ignore it. We're supposed to forget it ever happened. Or that it may (or is?) happening again. Even when the relatives of the people who did it eat at the BBQ with GWB. Or generate his policies. Planning doesn't seem to be real big with the current regime.

So, what about the weather, eh? Raining non-stop for days here. Good for us, but the storm track is missing Washington. They're forcasting a drought. Are you getting scads of snow over there on the Eastern Sierra?

Cosmicforce made the comment about the US and Japan in the 1920's, you characterized his motive as having to do with "correcting imperfections in our society."
