Yes cosmic, There has always been misconduct by all societies throughout history, mainly because of the motives of the leaders. Because most heads of state do not belong there because they only arrived at that level because they wanted to and most of the time it is NOT for altruistic reasons. They climbed that political ladder like all do in various facets of society for purely selfish reasons. Or they were anointed by those already at the top to maintain the status quo. <g>. So anybody that wants to lead, shouldn't lead (EDIT).. in almost all cases, I will add. The problem lies with the people. The followers feel that once "their man" is put in power, it reflects on them and it does. And EVEN if their man turns out to be a really flawed leader, they will NEVER admit to it, for to admit to a mistake like that is akin to saying that they, themselves, are flawed. EDIT. Even if they were genuinely hoodwinked and to admit to that, is to admit to a certain level of ignorance at worst or to naviete at best. And WHO will ever do THAT. <vbg> Yes we are getting a huge amount of mountain snow. Fortunately for us, it is just above us. A "White Easter" coming up, easy to find colored eggs but tough to find those white ones. So all the Easter bunnies out there will have to do a really good job of egg-coloring. m
