However, when women and children are murdered I call it evil. Nomadic people had a way of attributing to God the work of the devil. What is ironic is if the same acts were done in this present day and age people like Greg would rightly attribute them to Satan. Go figure." I do not attribute Moses following God's orders to be an act of evil. If you followed the question back Joe was trying to get me to what you just did and call God evil! Greg, if someone killed defenseless women and children would that be bad? The answer is yes in case you are wondering. So, since this is evil, why when God commands it is it considered just? Suppose the Hutu claimed God commanded they kill the Tutsi. Should we call this just because God can do with His creatures what He wishes? And if not, why the double standard? With friends like you... If someone continued to claim that I can directly go against my own laws and kill defenseless women and children I would be pretty upset. I am perfectly willing to discuss these things, but as a Christian I would like you to give me some authoritative source besides your feelings for the things you say. All Scripture is Godbreathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. Scripture that makes God out to be a ruthless tyrant should be taken one way. It is as a spiritual lesson that we need to purge ourselves of all worldly corruption. Making claims that it is ok to kill defenseless women and children and keep the virgins as long as God commands it is ridiculous. Who are you trying to impress with this? Surely not anyone with the tiniest thread of morality. As for evolution and ID you are free to believe contradictory things if you want but if you read Paul's argument in the first chapter of Romans he uses the argument from Creation and design so I feel comfortable that I am in good company there. Evolution is the process by which God created all things. There is no contradiction. You are the one that asked if anyone knew about intelligent design in the first place, as if you had never encountered it before was that true or were you being deceitful? I never led you to believe I had never encountered it. I simply wanted honest answers to people's perspectives on ID. Stating from the get go that I disdained ID would not be the best way to stimulate conversation. Hate me if you like but at least I am up front about what it is I believe Hate you Greg? Please, I do not hate nor dislike you. I will however question you.

You have not condemned primitive accounts of rape, incest, torture, murder, and such...so on what basis can you condemn modern instances of the same atrocities? Your apparent support of Dahmer as a person ripe for heaven is consistent with your support of all the bible murders by God and those at His behest. Your inability to create independent values through rational thought and compassion is rather frightening. You talk and (I suppose act) like a Zombie. Dahmer would have loved that... But you will meet him in "heaven" and can discuss all the fun he had...
