You can't score when you can't see the whole playing field. i don't believe they view her daughter's life as a playing field think that the parents are living in an echo chamber of true believers do you have even one ounce of passion in your soul? would not any rational person with a passion surround themselves with those who are like minded? if i had a lawyer who told me 'this cannot be done' when it was my daughter's life was at stake, i would fire him on the spot and find someone who shares my passion it has been quite a sad spectacle to watch all of these abstract procedural arguments (as though we pondering how many angels will fit on the head of pin) from 'different perspectives' all while someone is being starved to death amazing to watch these 'constructive' judges fiddle and 'reason' while terri schiavo burns
