Yes, thank you for confirming that. It raises an interesting issue--does the state (not the state of Florida specifically, but any state body) have any rules about how long they will pay to support people in persistent vegetative states? I know Texas passed a law when Bush was governor that allowed care to be discontinued if the patient or family could not pay--this law led to the death of a baby boy in Texas last week, over the objections of his family.
