Sorry, don't take it personally, but I don't expect you to understand. So I would preferred not to explain further.

<<...sounding like a shill for the chinese governemt...>> Is a totally incorrect assessment. Yiwu is independent minded and has criticized the government on some issues. Rather Yiwu is foremost a nationalist and also humanist who wants to see China's society as a whole to succeed in taking their share of world's wealth and prosperity (health and welfare). The key word is "society" as the beneficiary, and the government guides it. Yiwu does think the current government is doing a good job, but must also heed and address problems that currently exist in China.

If Yiwu were in China during the Cultural Revolution, Yiwu would have been sent to the re-education camp. Yiwu is one sharp independent mind and has the wherewithal to grasp and discern the issues, including the difference between the official propaganda versus what's actual in the streets. Well, on some of them anyhow. No one else in SI can come close. I previously told Yiwu not to post too many thoughts because they can be misperceived and brings out paranoia. Yet, Yiwu chooses to exercise freedom to write thoughts and share knowledge.

Like Yiwu said, it's a bit more complex than most people can perceive or follow because of the lack of whatever. Best if you don't read Yiwu's posts. They are only for those who can appreciate them.

Shill? Probably. That or Kudlow's Asian twin.
