gfp: That is one of the main reasons I am skeptical of investing in this company –there is no way to value it.

Although there are other biotech companies that give out only rough ranges for royalties, the ranges tend to be a lot narrower than a spread of 4X from the lower bound to the upper bound.

SNMX strikes me as a “story stock” where the story is not all that appealing. I think you can do better. JMHO, FWIW

This is what I'd like to know. How can one guestimate future revenues at this point?

whoops, edit, I see texasdude tried.
TD, its too bad you didn't start it as a moderated thread. I don't see why dew diligence is over here--its one thing if he's on a biotech board on ihub or here and snmx comes up and he voices a negative opinion, but why waste his time over on a special snmx board just as a basher? In that case it seems like ego, nada more.

Very annoying and you won't be able to moderate him off if he gets creepy. Oh well. Thanx for starting the board anyway and I agree, its the salt and sugar where the $ is.

<<So far I've only heard them refer vaguely to the 1-4% range with no further details. Have they ever given any specifics about the sales levels which would trigger the higher royalty rates? Also, has the company given any guidance/estimates yet on the expected 2006 royalty income stream from the savory enhancer related product sales? Lacking this type info, I'm having trouble figuring a proper valuation for the company. Thanks for any info.>>

Ditto...I see lots of positives as well as negatives with this company and am trying to get a handle on things.....Stock is at 52 week high.....chart looks very nice...but, this is a company that is still in developmental stage and has readily admitted they have incuured severe losses and expect to continue to see losses for at least 2 more years.....Insiders were lined up selling ( they were not selling huge %'s of their holdings, but...) in March, close to it's highs. Very unusual for a company to say they will lose money for at least 2 more years, but stock keeps going up.....

I've done DD on more stocks then I can count and I must admitt this one is a complete mystery to me...part of me can see this continuing a nice move upwards as people look forward and part of me wonders whether it will drop back down since there will be no profits for quite awhile, and possibly she goes back down until it is more clear as to what kind of profits to expect, what kind of customer wins they are getting and etc, etc, etc.....For the life of me I cannot even give an opinion as to whether I feel this is abuy right now or best to wait....I love the sector...love what they are doing....but just can't get a handle on this company and what to expect over the next year.....will it rise as they release good news...will it fall back down until they start releasing info that gives us a better handle on this? If Market corrects or crashes now or before they become profitable, will the stock tank or will it be one of the few that actually hold up well....lots of questions and I have no idea <g>...
