It has indeed been a long time since we've seen hard down. And you make a good point that it has taken this massive bull wave to get traders to purge the memory of the bear and to believe down is a myth again.

Yes down will likely come again. I expect it to be filled with bull hope and dreams as we saw during the declines in 2000-2002, much as the 2002-2005 ramp was disbelieved by many bears.
