That's why I think Sharif Ali Bin Hussein is possibly a key player in this..

Let's not forget who ruled Iraq prior to the Baathists coming to power.. It was the Hashemites. And many Iraqis, Sunni and Shi'a, still have some nostalgia for those times.

Jordan is looking to become a key player in representing the Sunni perspective, IMO. But that's just my gut feeling and not derived from anything specific I've read.
