Cognitive human beings, like myself, assess each situation on its own merits. Schiavo seems relatively alive and responsive in those videos. Pulling her plug requires an absolute certainty that the cerebrum was damaged beyond repair and that it was her wish to discontinue life sustaining treatments.

Pulling the plug on an unconscious patient with no cerebral activity and no subcortical functions, and no hope for reversal, is not a decision. It's standard operating procedure.

You comments on this topic lead me to believe you have no real world experience in the area. Best to keep your mouth shut then.
