A couple of things from CC: contract (as opposed to spot) prices down 10% this quarter. Spot business is 5-10% of total, same as usual.

Here's an unconventional "sentiment" measure: the last post to the SI Micron thread was November 4, 2004. It was one of 12 posts during the whole year. Compare that to the 54,000 posts since the thread's inception in 1996. It will take another 4,500 years to match the number of posts of the thread's first 7 years.

I'm looking for a better day tomorrow for the semi area. Today, obviously, was really lousy!:(

I was watching NVLS rather closely as the end of the trading day approached, and it was really getting "clobbered". Starting around 3:15 when the stock was trading around 27, the "selling" became relentless. Down 0.50 in the next 45 minutes, or almost 2 percent, to close at 26.51. Immediately after the close, and I do mean immediately, at 16:04 to be exact, trading was at 26.72, up 0.8 percent. AH trading for NVLS on the NASDAQ closed at 26.79, up 1.1 percent from the close.

As far as the conference call is concerned, we should get some summary articles posted tonight - perhaps CBS Marketwatch as an example - that someone can post as they become available.

I am most anxious to see what CSFB will say tomorrow about their "miss". After their raise from 0.05 earnings yesterday to 0.11, they still under estimated the actual number(0.17) by 55 percent. I will report what they say as it becomes available tomorrow.
