"Immediately after the close, and I do mean immediately, at 16:04 to be exact, trading was at 26.72, up 0.8 percent. AH trading for NVLS on the NASDAQ closed at 26.79, up 1.1 percent from the close."

That would just about apply for any tech symbol and QQQQ. QQQQ had sufficient volume at 36.20ish after closing at 36.04 by my quotes. Who knows why? It wasn't MU news. But it was immediate.

Somebody or hedge fund get liquidated on the close?

Or is this some attempt to paint the tape? To be followed up by a dump tomorrow from the afterhours high point.

Either way, and who cares, its just yet another example of how broken and manipulated this MarkIt has become.
