I agree to an extent about what you say about NCR. They should be able to find someone to continue the leadership. However, it could be argued that the stock was expensive, so it's just reflecting its value. If he can unlock value in HP, then there is nothing wrong with the jump in the stock. I also agree with you to an extent in terms of the industry as a whole and its valuation. However, just to say everything that happens in the industry is irrational strikes me as being contrary just to be contrarian.
