Well, I guess that's just too f***ing bad. They thought he was a lying sack of s#!& who wanted to kill their daughter because he wanted to get on with his life, and she was standing in his way.

May the day never come that your spouse has the right to kill you without anybody having the right to protest.

Exactly right. It seems to me that the whole thing may have resulted from the greed of the parents. They turned against Michael when he wouldn't split the malpractice award with them.

Michael's conduct appears to be as good as anyones in this whole sorry mess. He spent years doing everything possible to rehabilitate Terri and on finally accepting that it was hopeless he carried out her wishes.
