Might be worth it for me to see that soccer mom with the GM Suburban pull up at the pump next to me and fill it up for $150 bucks. (31 gallon tank on that big boy)....

Best regards,
John <ggg>

OT ... Lizzie, re "Anyway another thing would be to *incent* detroit to build hybrid cars.... any progress there NO."

A better approach is to incent consumers to *buy* hybrid cars IMO.

BTW there are hybrid cars available: Ford Escape, Toyota Prius, Honda Insight, Honda Civic, Honda Accord, and Lexus RX. Are you going to walk the walk ... and buy one?

Ron

I have to agree with you, Lizzie. Bush and friends are in bed with oil. Oil money is part of the package that got him re-elected. He's not liable to do anything drastic to reduce oil consumption during his last term in office. I hate to say it, because I'm a Republican, but we need a tree-hugger Democrat in office for 8 years to spearhead us off the oil dependence, if we're ever going to have a chance at it.
