That sounds wonderful! We spent a lot of time walking around the city. The kids loved the parks, and we had a lot of fun people watching in the parks.

My husband and I enjoyed London more, but we were very glad we went to Paris, and that the kids got to have such a wonderful experience. When we saw the Mona Lisa the crowd was relatively small. We were lucky with the impressionist exhibits at the Musee d'orsay as well. I've heard those rooms can get unbearable- but we could see everything, and there were no crowds. :-)
