Jim, Also shows you that with a few thousand more border patrol, volunteers and unmanned planes with cameras that the borders can be sealed effectively.

Good point. This dispels the myth that closing the border would be prohibitively expensive.

You still know my stance, however. I don't believe America ought to be an exclusive zoning club.

It seems Vincente wants the US taxpayer to raise the standard of living for it's 90% plus poor folks while the 5% "rich" in Mexico still ignore the plight of the masses and live like kings.

There are a couple of things that the US can do immediately to stop the incentive for illegals to cross the border. Bush doesn't want to do either.

Interesting that the minutemen are having an effect. And of course the "race card" is already being played.


Some S. CA Latinos play the race card on a regular basis. They see allowing the illegals to come as growing their political base.
