Jim, Also shows you that with a few thousand more border patrol, volunteers and unmanned planes with cameras that the borders can be sealed effectively. Good point. This dispels the myth that closing the border would be prohibitively expensive. When I lived in LA, Clinton filled all the vacant positions in the INS that were responsible for the S. Diego/Mexican border. Illegal immigration dropped dramatically. However, some of that decrease showed up as increase at the AZ border. The point is that the INS has never been fully staffed in history........I suspect by intent. If it were, I believe illegal immigration would drop significantly. You still know my stance, however. I don't believe America ought to be an exclusive zoning club. We accept around 1 million legal immigrants per year.......that would be ten million in 10 years. I think that is more than enough. ted
