Do you think that is an inaccurate portrayal? Yes, I do. Don't believe TV shows. I used to call on markets in Watts. The owners didn't have guns. They were afraid of getting in trouble with the police. That has a certain intuitive appeal, but who knows if it's so? Of course it does. Because it's logical. Hard to "prove" this to the satisfaction of someone who is opposed to open carry. But we have stat after stat coming in now from areas that have gone to open carry that crime has decreased. This will never be "proof" enough to someone like JohnM. Or, perhaps, to you.
