"I really don't know how to respond to someone who celebrates only 36 young men dead last month"

I see, rather than admit you were wrong, you employ a
straw man argument & falsely claim things I gave never said.

"There were no WMD and no working ties to al Qaeda."

Actually, you are dead wrong. There were continuing
operations to improve Iraq's WMD programs & Some WMD's were
found. And Saddam had multiple ties to terrorist groups,
including Al Qaeda.

Additionally, Saddam continued to develop illegal offensive
weapons. He also continued to commit crimes against humanity
on a horrific scale, ET AL.

All of this was in direct violation of the Gulf War Cease
Fire Agreement - AKA - UN Resolution #687. This Cease Fire
Agreement was irrevocably tied to all future UN Resolutions,
including UN Resolution 1441.

Saddam egregiously violated every UN Resolution for more than
12 years.

And he was misusing the Oil-for-Food program in one of the
largest frauds ever committed.

Here is all the proof you will ever need to prove you were dead wrong.

Duelfer Report: Saddam Planned to Restart WMD Programs
Message 20611962

The Iraqi Survey Group also found that upposed "humanitarian"
imports under Oil-for-Food gave Saddam the ability to restart
his biological and chemical warfare programs at a moment's
notice. Spertzel said what scared him the most in Iraq was
the discovery of secret labs to make deadly weapons like the
nerve agent, sarin, and the biological poison, ricin, in
spray form.
