So the fact that "us people" are possessing a different philosophical orientation and that rift is not traversable is an insult? I don't get that. It is certainly true that we are different and have different levels of concern over some matters. I suppose it is like religion... for some people it's obvious, for others it isn't. Who's right? Nobody in the absolute. This is maybe something you also disagree with.

Your posts obviously value the opinions of those who do something for a living over those who study it. That faith in working professionals is not supported by the statistics, however. It is well known that a high percentage of initial diagnoses by doctors are simply wrong. An over reliance on experience can lead to false confidence as evidenced by the revolutions in geology, physics and biology - all of which came about by people that doubted dogmatic "authority". Adherence to authority is akin to religion. This was and has been my only point and how you pull insults out of that is beyond me.
