Most Jews do indeed support the Democrats. And they provide about half the party's funding. But have you noticed that the Democratic elite (as represented by the DLC) support the war as much as Bushies. Wealthy Jews and liberals in general do not go for Bush's extreme right wing domestic agenda to be sure. But when it comes to matters Middle Eastern they are often as militaristic as Bush. Why do you think people like Hillary Clinton -- who represents a state where wealthy Jew have tremendous power -- never fails to go out of her way to support the Bush war agenda -- even as she dissents on other issues. Anti-war jewish billionaires like Soros are the exception not the rule. A much more representative figure is Mortimer Zuckerman -- real estate billionaire, publisher of US NEWS AND WORLD REPORT, and a major honcho in a number of powerful lobbying groups. As anybody who has read his frequent editorials knows -- the Iraq war and US aggression in the Middle East in general -- have few more loyal or consistent supporters than Zuckerman.
