**CORRECTION TO DAWS STORY**

news.morningstar.com

Corrected April 7, 200520:25 ET (01:25 GMT)

Hedge-fund manager Jonathan Daws didn't say that others at Gryphon Partners knew that the information they traded on was confidential government information.

Daws said that he and others at Gryphon were members of the Elgindy Web site when confidential information was shared with site members and that he was aware it was non-public information. Daws said that he and others at Gryphon traded on information posted on the Elgindy site.

(A story published at 4:20 p.m. EDT incorrectly stated that Daws said that others at Gryphon knew the information they traded on was confidential.)
