I think they just don't want to put a plan on the table before Bush does. If Bush ever offers one, the Dems will have counters, I expect.

I agree although they might find out they do have some voters who will be impacted. My liberal daughter is very cognizant of SS not being there for her and is all for private accounts. Her hopelessly conservative dad is opposed to Indy accounts connected to SS for reasons stated in an earlier post. mike
