can't blame Sandisk for all the form factors out there

Whew! As a shareholder, I was beginning to feel a bit guilty. It does seems like a bit of a waste to me that we aren't using the same 1 GB flash card in all our devices. As a shareholder, I naturally have some mixed feelings about it each time I have to buy another card.

How often do we use the same CF card on more than one device these days?

Can't speak for anyone else but me. I have two 4GB 80x CF's, two 2GB 80x, and nine 512MB 45x (from a few years ago). They're my bread and butter, since I'm a photographer. And they are a very nice and simple, easy and tiny way to transport -- information. Images, documents of any kind, whatever. Very nice to drop by a client's with just a card, knowing they have a reader... Any ones and zeroes will do, baby, teensy weensy, but fill 'er up! Lovely. Haven't tried to boot off a card, but should be possible, someday, if not already, what do I know...

Yeah, I use my cards, every which way I can think of -- all of them...

As to which format, and why? Make up your minds, already, design doods. (g)
