True enough. We can only deduce from his actions that Hector believes that the stock will appreciate over the next year, and not necessarily that it will be enough to bring OTM leaps into the money.

Having said that, I am heavily into the OTM leaps. Keeping a bit of cash on the sidelines, to buy more leaps after earnings, assuming that flash will cause disappointment. But it looks like the market is already looking to the longer term.

Why OTM Leaps and not in the money?

I still believe AMD has a shot at at one of my forward-feedback loops, where a rising stock price produces greater confidence in the company and greater revenues. And there's always the Dell chance, for whatever that's worth. And finally they could divest flash...
