You appear to have missed the point. Each line has equivalency.

Ray Rockafeller (D), = Mel Martiniz (R).
Harry Reid (D) = Tom DeLay (R).
Bill Clinton (D) >= Bob Packwood (R).

Tejek attitude:
Ray Rockafeller (D), no problem; Mel Martiniz (R), problem.
Harry Reid (D), maybe problem - but no big whoop; Tom DeLay (R), problem needs immediate attention.
Bill Clinton (D) - perjurer / allegedly used power to get sex, no problem; Bob Packwood (R)- allegedly used power to get sex, no comment.

Sorry Ted, but your response is ample proof of your partisanship. You may be registered Independent just like Bill O'Reilley, but you are hardly as centrist as he is.

I have complained on a number of occasions re. the lack of backbone that the Dems have shown the GOP.

No need to point out the partisanship there. It is self evident.

Its just that the GOP is so damn corrupt; its nearly intolerable.

Your definition of corrupt appears to be "that which is not Democrat". Harry Reid selling land federal land worth hundreds of millions of dollars to firms that bribed his son does not register, because he is a Democrat. There is a corrupt party and it is the Democrat party. You can get just as frustrated as you wish. Some people have intellectual curiosity, and do not buy into the leftwing spin just because several nuts repeat it.
