Raymond, If Bush has enraged the editorial staff at the Moscow Times to this extent then I take that as a sign that he is doing at least something right. On the other hand, Russians should surely know something about "gangsters" as they have been continuously ruled by various gangsters ever since the murder of the Czar.

Judicial activists are opposed by Bush, as they should be and with the demand that judges base their rulings on current law and invoke the Constitution properly. As for democracy, we have far too much of it and we should restore the structure to the system of franchise that The Founders established, with the vote only allowed to those with a stake in the system, taxpayers and property owners. The idea that the sandbaggers on welfare be allowed the vote is ridiculous.

As for the unmanned AC-130 that is exactly what was needed in Vietnam, along with some commanders with the will to use such a weapon. And if you gave a damn about the safety of our men on the ground you would wish we had such a weapon today.
