Re: My thinking is that AMAT and nearly any other semi equipment stock will outperform again but not until the rest of the market forms a major bottom. This is of course only my opinion which could of course be well off base. I am curious if at this point in time you have numbers you are looking at for a bottom? As far as the sector bottoming without the market bottoming, I believe in 1995 the market was in an uptrend while the SOX was bottoming.
