I think they hated him for his "betrayal" of his fellow swift boaters. And yes, I think they lied. Somebody certainly did, and they had the motivation. And they got the money from their Republican backers.

What do you think; it was spontaneous and these guys used their own money for the production and airing of a multi-million dollar ad campaign? Do you think in the end they made money out of it?

The ones that trashed Kerry.....yup! The guy behind them has been behind some other questionable enterprises. Its was a political setup of the Rove kind.
