Bushies want to take away health care for disabled vets too.
Just one of the many cuts they want to make to pay for their tax cuts to the billionaires. Look at the spending cuts they recommend as they desperately try to narrow the balooning deficits. They're all cuts which affect the sick, needy, indigent and environment, including vets. You see, those groups they're not afraid of, because too many people have been cowed into believing that Bush is focused on fighting terrorism, instead of making his cronies richer.

The fact is, the SpecWar teams we need to kill real terrorists are so busy swatting flies in Iraq they have no time to track down Al Qaida.

Returning vets will receive substandard care because of the lack of funding.

Actually, I believe all veterans are able to get health benefits today regardless of whether its a service related injury or not. I know many of my neighbors go to the VA and get their prescriptions for something like $8 a bottle. My wife has been bugging me to do the same, but since we have prescription coverage in our health insurance I havent felt the need. jdn
