Arnold has not been trying to work with anyone. He's always been the one stating he'll take his policies to the public using propositions, avoiding the legislature altogether.

Arnold's big problem is that he believes in the same big lie all supply siders do, that lower taxes, particularly on the rich, increase revenues, when actually they just create debt. Arnold's first spending cut suggestions were mainly targeted at the poor. Instead of taxing, he just soclked it to the needy and put everything on the credit card like Bush does. That's a shame. We need fiscal sanity in this country, not more debt. We also need essential services paid for.

Why not also raise taxes on Malibu mansions and Rolls Royces? Better yet, why not press to sue the Texas energy theieves to reimburse California for all the billions they stole in 2000-2001 in collusion with Bush-Cheney? Arnold won't do that because at his core, he stands with the rich, the oil companies and big business. Not really a man of the people at all, but certainly a lot better than the Bushies in DC. At least he won't support offshore drilling the Texas mafia wants.
