well we've got tech and the autos in the tank and they are REALLY in the tank, and then oil prices, and weak retail. Thats why I think things look bad. But who knows.

GM has it's own troubles ( uk.biz.yahoo.com. )
Financials are bloated. Housing is bloated. Retail sales are slowing. We may be on to something.

The problems at FNM, AIG, FRE, MBIA, GMs financial unit (GMAB?) alone are extended to the tune of a year's worth of US GDP (see siliconinvestor.com.

I am seeing more problems lurking outside tech. Tech companies might not suffer as bad but their stock will.
