I didn't say it did, but neither does the beauracracy act like a committee.

It makes better decisions most of the time because it has better information

Which was also my point about large groups. They by their nature have more information because of their size, not because of their makeup or motivation. They simply have more opportunity to gather information than any individual could hope for. It's really the markets ability to act as a herd and not a bunch of individuals which gives it some predictive powers.
