This is easily open for discussion. I would argue that LEICA lens' are the best in the world.

Hi Sam,

I was also concerned about the statement "expanding gross margins will also be difficult given ASML's limited leverage with certain component suppliers." The gross margin is lower because the "components" are part of the sales price and ASML has a zero gross margin on them. This would be a competitive disadvantage if Zeiss were inflexible about its margins and forced ASML to eat all cost reductions. If both adjusted margins when competition required, I don't see much disadvantage compared to internal lens divisions.
